I have been reading your blog for a while now and am enjoying it! I remember taking a pregnancy yoga class with my first (she's 16 now!) and the yoga teacher proclaiming, "There is body after baby!" She added, "I promise!" She was correct. What a struggle it can be though. I think I have finally found a good balance for me and I have no doubt you will do the same for you! I applaud your emphasis of the word "healthy" when it comes to how you communicate with Lucy. I haven't done a perfect job but my daughter (for the most part) feels good about herself and recognizes the perils of eating disordered thinking. Thank you for sharing your story!
