I don't have Hashimotos but I can so relate to this post...I have nonstop digestive issues and have tried different things to help. Right now I avoid, gluten, dairy, peanut butter, and soy and I feel a TON better. I know that I am allergic to these things for sure.

Don't worry, it seems overwhelming but it does get easier!

Wowza, that is a lot to take in. But I am so glad that there are options and things to try. It sounds like you are in the hands of a good doctor. I'm sure once you get used to the routine it will become second nature. I look forward to seeing how this unfolds for you, I hope it is a huge help. Good luck.

Wow, that is quite a bit to absorb. (No pun intended.) I'm glad that you found this out now before it really caused problems. I have to say, when I was looking at the list of things that weren't absorbing and thinking about how you were having gut pain my first thought was Crohn's Disease. I'm glad that didn't come up, I'm sure she would have said if it was likely. *hug*

OMG - I am so sorry. I don't know what I'd do without many of the above mentioned items. Is malabsorbtion a condition that will go away, or will the diet be the treatment permanently?
