I May Have Just Poisoned Myself
I highly doubt it but I did eat the stir fry that I made a week ago for lunch today. It’s all veggies and tofu so I thought it would be okay. It tasted great, so I think I’m okay. Would you have eaten veggies, tofu, and rice that were a week old? Am I crazy?
I had a Talking Rain with it. Talking Rain is sparkling water with fruit “essence” it’s zero calorie but (obviously) has carbonation. They are a Washington based company and we get them here since WE’RE a Washington based company. When we were bought, this was one of the first improvements we saw 😉
I also had a gluten free cookie that Miss Elaina made.
It had a strange texture but was good. I guess it’s just almond butter, baking soda, sucanat, egg, salt, and dark chocolate chips. Interesting.
Right after my dental appointment (it was fine although I now feel like I’ve been hit by a sledgehammer in the face) I ate 2 mandarin’s:
When I got to work, I ate 10 almonds (unpictured).
Speaking of getting to work, I had a VERY FUN package waiting for me:
My friend, Laura, found these at Costco for me and sent them to me. LOVE IT! I’m SO excited. THANK YOU LAURA!!!! You can see Elaina’s neck and chin in that picture-Hi Elaina 😉
Alright, off to do work.

i hope you didn’t poison yourself! i’ve always been too scared to eat anything over a couple days old… 🙂
I eat things within a week of making it…past that I usually toss it. Since it was rice and veggies I probably would have felt ok with eating it as long as I heated it up good. I hope you didn’t poison yourself 🙁
LOL! I hope you aren’t poisoned, I guess you will know soon enough!
I would have eaten the stir-fry!! So long as you nuked it to 165* you’re fine 🙂
I totally would have eaten the food. I like to eat rotten/dirty food regularly. I pretend that it makes my immune system stronger to expose it to things like that in small doses. And I haven’t gotten any type of illness at all in an entire year, so….
Eat rotten food! 😉
lol you crack me up. Those water bottles are sweet!
I’m glad you got the water bottles! Yay!
Sadly, I likely would have eaten the stirfry, as well. I hate throwing food away, and if it smells & tastes okay, I’ve been known to eat food that’s a week old… In fact, my mom gets mad at me if she sees me throw out something that’s any less than 2 weeks old & doesn’t have mold on it! …Guess that’s where I get it…
