Stank Face
My child has perfected her Stank Face.
Exhibit A-directed at Mommy:
Elaina assures me that this is patented Chelsea and that she looks just like pissed off me in this picture.
Exhibit B-directed at Daddy:
If you’re thinking, “Wow, it looks like Lucy has a carrot, beet, apple, pepper, lemon juice mustache,” you’d be right.
Mommy made some juice:
And Lu Bug loved it and didn’t want it to end. Unfortunately, I did not love it. It made me nauseous again :( I learned though! I did not continue to drink the juice, I dumped it and got a bagel instead.
A Noah’s pumpernickel with hummus. Next time, I’ll skip the hummus.
When I got to work I had a (SUPRISE!) soy tea latte. My bubble were a little big today.
And now it’s off to work for the weekend!

Lucy is just too cute…my ovaries are screaming at me to reproduce!!! 😀
If you are anything like me, you will be reminding Lucy of the “stank face” for years to come! My son perfected what we called “the brow” when he was her age or just a tad bit older. He could do it on command. So. Darn. Cute!!! Thanks for sharing your precious girl!
she is ADORABLE!! love the stank face!
stank face is just the greatest phrase ever…i’m cracking up looking at that first picture! PS i LOVED the soup…I also went back and made sure to include that in the post (sorry it wasn’t there before, i was in a hurry 🙂
Heather-DO NOT apologize! I’m just glad you liked it!!!
Beth-I’m sorry she’s hurting your ovaries-I know the feeling WELL!
Jennifer-I have a feeling I’ll be getting STANK FACE for years to come!
Thanks Katie!
And now me and my exclamation points will exit the comments.
I just stumbled acrossed your blog (bored at work) and I usually never leave comments on peoples blogs. BUT, your daughter is the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen and I wanted to let you know! I don’t tend to think many little kids are that cute (except for my nieces of course), but Lu is absolutely adorable and what a personality! You seem like an awesome family and your food/exercise blog is really fun to read. Keep up the good work Mom!
Oh, that face is just precious!!
I already had the stank face down at that age too. If you’d ask my mom, she’d probably tell you it’s not so cute anymore when they’re still doing it at the age of 10, 16, 20… 😉
I love your blog! It’s so great! I love your story and your adorable little girl! Can’t wait to read more! I would love your advice for getting back in shape after having a baby! Mine is due in April – I can’t wait!
🙂 Ali
Yes, I agree..that Lu is simply a delight in those pics!
As I sit here with the worst heartburn ever, and the baby(in utero) has hiccups again for the third time today..I try and remind myself that soon I will be able to see that cute little bundle of joy in the outside world–and my heartburn will be gone 🙂
Thanks for sharing your adorable pics!
